Creative Math Workshops for Teachers show you how to enable children to begin to experience mathematics as a richly enjoyable activity in ways that will enhance their achievement.

Workshop activities relate specifically to the New York City mathematics curriculum and are selected to match the interests of participating teachers.

Each in-service workshop shows you how to sharpen children’s critical thinking skills and problem-solving techniques and boost their confidence in their ability to do well on tests. You will also learn about and develop “take-home” activities that can involve parents and guardians in their children’s math learning experiences.

We design Creative Math Workshops for Teachers activities after careful advance consultation with school and teacher leaders to determine specific audience needs and interests. We offer the workshops at times and places chosen by schools and provide all necessary materials.
